Course
Behind the scenes of pop-up cards and -books lie more or less complicated mechanisms of folded paper or cardboard. When the pages are opened, these ingenious constructions reveal three dimensional objects.
First, we will investigate and reconstruct some examples of such mechanisms. The principles will then be transferred to more stable materials and larger formats. Finally, participants will develop and realize a project of their own.
