The Institute of Design and Architectural Drafting at the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape Sciences is concerned with the influence of artistic practice and technological systems on architecture in design and realisation.


Art and Design - kug - works with artistic procedures. References to space, body, material and sensuality are questioned and treated as fundamental aspects of architecture. Media of Architectural Design - mAD - works with representation systems in the form of geometry, image, simulation, interaction and immersion. Digital Methods in Architecture - dMA - works with numerical and algorithmic procedures that determine architecture in design, planning, construction and operation.
