Course
In this compact art course, we will deal practically and experimentally with the theme of ornamentation and variation, using self-designed and -produced ceramic tiles to create a wall or floor piece. The course will provide an introduction to the ceramic workshop, relate fundamental concepts, and go through all the steps from design, production, and biscuit firing to various color possibilities and glost firing. The course is offered as a block, taking place on a Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of two consecutive weeks.
