At the "Real Estate Arena" trade fair in May 2023, the stakeholder group representing the interests of architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and urban planning will have a joint stand, as they did in 2022. The design and implementation of the exhibition stand will be carried out as a design-build project by students from Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts and Leibniz University Hannover under the lead of the chairs of Prof. Becker (Digital Methods, LUH), Prof. Sabljo (Design, HsH) and Prof. Werthmann (Landscape Architecture and Design, LUH).
The design research project is divided into two parts. A design workshop will take place from Monday, 27.02. to Friday, 03.03.2023 with presentation the following week most likely on Friday, 10.03.2023. The second part will deal with production planning, manufacturing and construction of the exhibition stand. Both parts can be taken as a seminar with 5 CP each.
With the exhibition stand, the Department for Digital Methods further pursues the focus on small reusable components. The aim is to develop design variations along this concept, building on previous. Designs will have to meet the spatial and communicative requirements of the exhibition stand.
Skills in digital design with Rhino, Grasshopper, VRay and VR are helpful, but not a prerequisite.
