Selected theses from the BSc. Architecture and MSc. Architecture and Urban Design at the Leibniz University Hanover, summer semester 2020

At the end of the summer semester 2020, the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape Architecture, Department of Architecture, will present a selection of the Bachelor's and Master's theses in a virtual walk-through exhibition. It was designed and implemented by the department for Digital Methods in Architecture in a game engine. A 3D model of the foyer in Herrenhäuser Straße 8 serves as the basis, with realistic elements and digital ambience overlapping in a variety of ways. The focus is on 28 works, presented in pictures, models and animations.

The selection of the works was made by the professors of the department of architecture during the two tours of reviewing submitted theses. It shows 9 BSc. and 19 MSc. works that reflect the range and quality of urban planning and architectural design at the faculty in a particularly impressive way.

The exhibition opens on 22.07.2020 to mark the graduation of the students and is accessible in three different formats via the faculty website: as a computer game for download, a browser game and as a video.

Concept: Chair for Digital Methods in Architecture, Prof. Mirco Becker
Implementation: Jan Philipp Drude
Student assistant: Tomke Johanna Strömer
